In 1997 the Rutherford Downtown Special Improvement District was created to help develop and promote the Borough’s commercial center. The Special Improvement District is managed by the Rutherford Downtown Partnership, a non-profit organization whose members include all of the business owners and landlords in the defined district.

Shop In Rutherford & Save

The Rutherford Downtown Partnership and Boiling Springs Savings Bank jointly sponsor the Shop Rutherford Gift Certificates Program. Under this program, gift givers can purchase gift certificates from Boiling Springs Savings Bank in denominations of $10, $25, and $50, which can be used as cash in most Rutherford businesses.

DINING UNDER THE STARS RETURNS THIS SUMMER 2010

After the great success of the 2009 "Dining Under The Stars" season, the Rutherford Downtown Partndership is proud to announce it's return for the 2010 summer season.  Every Thursday this June and July "Dining Under The Stars" returns to downtown Rutherford NJ.  There will be musical entertainment and a series of special events right here in Rutherford.  Join us this summer every Thursday and celebrate everything that Rutherford New Jersey has to offer.

FALL IN LOVE WITH RUTHERFORD

As always the Rutherford Downtown Partnership is working to bring awareness to the great shopping, professional services, and eateries located in our business improvement district. The latest promotion is Fall in Love with Rutherford. Check your mail box for fantastic coupons that can be used at any number of Rutherford businesses.

The Rutherford Farmers' Market is looking for certified organic farmers to participate this upcoming season. We are also seeking artists, ready-to-eat Indian food, homemade soaps & candles, crepes/waffles, juice/smoothie carts, stained glass crafters, street performers, and other artisans.
